Our Science boards

Yesterday our class was doing our science boards but first Mrs Faalili splitted us into eight groups and in my group was Tali and Ben l i really enjoyed making our science boards because it was all about cows and cows are my favorite animal but our title for our science boards is How milk is made but other people named their title for their science boards Grass to Glass. Our yesterday Photo Challenge!!

Yesterday Room 9 had did a challenge called Photo challenge, I really liked the photo challenge because we had learnt about Shapes and others. We got to pick our own groups and in my group was Josephine,Natalie and Ocean we had got a list from Mrs Faalili and one of the things Mrs Faalili told us to take a photo with is a teacher and other cool and fun things.
There will be photos down below of others and my own group taking selfies with the object Mrs Faalili told us to do.

FIRE AND ACE is our school values by the way the writing is  the other way around so FIRE stands for Fun,Integrity,Respect and Excellent

Grass to Glass

For this whole week Room 9 has been talking about cows and like asking questions, And all the questions we have on our mind write it down on this little sticky note paper Mrs Faalili gave us, I remember one question someone said at it said how long does it take for the grass to grow after cows have ate all the grass up? and then i started to research about that question and got the answer so the answer is Grass normally takes about 5 to 30 days. Next question someone ask was why does cows burp the food back up? The answer is One reason why cows burp so much is that they are often fed foods that their digestive systems cannot fully process, such as corn and soy. And the last question is why do we have cows? and the answer to that last question is cows can actually help the environment. Many people think that cows are a source of pollution and in a way they are because cows produce methane but on the other hand if you manage your cow really well they can contribute more to  society than they cost to society. Kiwi Can

Today Room 8 got split up in classes cous their teacher wasn't here today and we had kiwi can, So we went outside to line up and we walked with our hands on our mouths so we don't detracted other classrooms, so we walked gently and steady to the kiwi can room, room 3, first game we played was 123 jump and then the second game we played was mind field, How do we play? okay so how we played is we did boys vs girls and we just lined up and Miss Tuia our kiwi can leader and Mr Matt put cons,balls on the floor and four chairs around the cones and balls, The the rules is that you can not touch the balls,cones and lastly the chair and you have to close your eyes so we started to play and how it goes is the front person in the line is allowed to open hes eyes so basically the front person of the line or the leader what ever you say controls the whole line,  Mrs Faalili took some photos of us while we were playing, Here are some photos down below of us playing mind field. At the end of the game no one made it to the end of the line.

Sign Ninja

Last week i started to play Sign Ninja, Sign Ninja is such a cool come to play when you don't know how to do sign Language, I've learnt that Sign language was banned on 6 April 2006 in new Zealand but the kids that did sign language kept going because they didn't want to stop.

 









This is the map on Sign ninja some of the stages are locked, and there is only one stage called the great hall of communication that is unlocked, There is also a Help button and i call it the butterfly i really like sign ninja cause i got to learn how to do my name and I also got to learn how to do Sister,Brother,Cousin,Me,Grandpa,Grandma,Mum and Dad.








This is also a photo of Water,Milk,Orange,Ice cream,Chocolate,Pie,Orange,Apple,Banana and lastly Chips. Sign ninja is basically How to learn Sign language like fruits and foods I've really liked how they know how to do sign language like do they speak or something maybe maybe not you never know.
