Activity:Black

Please select one of the pictures below and observe (look at) it closely.

On your blog, describe the painting in detail. Please give us lots of detail!

My Story:Yellow

The first picture is black, white & kinda grey  it also looks like an old crumbly picture it also looks so professional. The second picture looks kinda similar but not exactly, the colours are blue, white, yellow and much more what I enjoy about those two pictures is that the 1st picture is  so beautiful and gorgeous to look at if it was in the museum the second picture is also so so cool because it is so colourful and has so much like actions do you know what I mean but yeah it looks so much like a dance.

  1. Hi Savanah - I think you chose Starry Night? The Starry Night is an oil on canvas by the Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. Painted in June 1889, it describes the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise, with the addition of an ideal village. I saw it in 2005 when I visited New York and saw it in the museum there. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep your learning up over the school break!
